HELP BCPS IMPROVE MORE LIVES

Change more than a life today!

IMAGINE a pebble tossed into the water.  Although you may not see where the pebble goes, the RIPPLE EFFECT is evident. YOUR DONATION IS THE PEBBLE

When John was released from prison, he came to BCPS to help him get back on his feet so he could take care of his family.  He received workforce development training, mentoring, financial literacy education, and case management, where he set realistic goals.  John is ready to get a job but does not have the money for the ONE thing he needed to get to accept the job: work boots.

YOUR DONATION can put those WORK BOOTS in his hands, and he can start that JOB that pays a LIVING WAGE

This job will allow John to afford a CAR, or means of transportation to work, and HOUSING FOR HIS FAMILY

When the family is in a SAFE HOME, and REGULAR MEALS are on the table, CHILDREN DO BETTER IN SCHOOL, the family's mental and physical HEALTH IMPROVES, and JOHN IS LESS LIKELY TO RETURN TO PRISON.

Your COMMUNITY BENEFITS, because John is contributing to the fabric of the community and economy, public safety is improved, and more importantly, he is not burdening it by incurring the cost of further incarceration.

When you invest in our LIFE IMPROVEMENT BUSINESS, your gift will impact the individuals we serve, their families, and our community!  Your donation CHANGES LIVES!

If you are in a position to help, please consider making a gift today.

BCPS IS A PANO STANDARDS FOR EXCELLENCE CERTIFIED ORGANIZATION

PANO Member Logo.PNG

Berks Connections/Pretrial Services is proud to be certified by the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) through their Standards for Excellence certification program. BCPS successfully completed this certification program by voluntarily opening itself up to scrutiny by a "jury of its peers" who examined our organization for compliance with PANO's Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector.

Standards of Excellence are based on the fundamental values such as honesty, integrity, fairness, respect, trust, responsibility, and accountability. BCPS's programs and services, management, fundraising, and financial practices were examined in depth before the certification was awarded. BCPS is one of the first organizations to be certified under the Standards program that began in 2002.
